Refund / Cancellation Policy
This Refund / Cancellation Policy governs the terms under which bookings made through Drive With Driver are handled.
1. Platform Role
Drive With Driver operates solely as a service aggregator platform. We connect customers with independent, verified drivers.
Payments made for driver services are collected on behalf of the driver. The driver is the primary service provider responsible for delivering the booked service.
Drive With Driver charges a separate service/convenience fee for facilitating bookings through the platform.
2. Cancellation by Customer
Customers may cancel a booking subject to the following conditions:
- Before Driver Assignment: Eligible for refund of the driver fare. Platform service fee may be non-refundable.
- After Driver Assignment: Cancellation charges may apply.
- After Trip Start: No refund applicable.
3. Cancellation by Driver
If a driver cancels a confirmed booking:
- Customer will be offered replacement driver (subject to availability), OR
- Eligible refund of the driver fare.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed under these scenarios:
- Driver unavailable
- Booking cancelled within permitted time
- Service not delivered
Non-refundable items:
- Platform service/convenience fee
- Late cancellation charges
- No-show charges
5. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. Actual credit time depends on the customer's bank/payment provider.
6. Disputes
Any disputes related to driver conduct, trip quality, or fare disputes should be reported to our support team. Drive With Driver will assist in mediation but does not guarantee reversal of charges once the trip has commenced.
